Have you heard about Eliska, the Tatra fox? Not yet? We would love to tell you a little bit about her. In our opinion, she is the most beautiful model in the Tatras. This little fox, Eliska, was named after her mother (or perhaps her grandmother, who knows?). Regardless, it all began a while ago with her strolls along a well-known hiking trail in search of food from tourists. And as is often the case with barter deals—in exchange for food, a well-fed Eliska would happily pose for them. Although everyone knows that wild animals should not be fed, and we hope tourists follow these rules now, the foxes still roam the trails to this day. If you haven’t had the luck to meet one yet, come visit us—a cheeky little fox is waiting here for you.

Why did we name our cottage Chalúpka u líšky Elišky (Little Fox Eliska’s Cottage)? The name is a tribute to a truly special encounter with this little fox. It is a memory we keep close to our hearts, and we are delighted to share that warmth and cozy atmosphere with you in our cottage.
